Letting the Light Language Happen
This writing of mine is about “speaking in tongues,” or what some prefer to call “light language.” Light language or mudras can sometimes be coaxed to arise ~ but honestly, I don’t believe in purposefully igniting anything, not this, nor Kundalini. I believe in surrendering, offering yourself up. Period. The rest follows on its own… whatever gift is meant to arise. We all have gifts when we step out of the way. Having a friend or mentor with us during sacred rebirths and unburdenings can have huge positive effects at times, but only when someone needs to be “witnessed.”
There are ritualized ways to let go, and there are playful ones. Both work. It’s just so very nice to let it happen naturally. I’ve spoken in tongues myself, off and on, since a surrender at 28. It still surprises me every time. That seems to be what always happens when one simply surrenders to that which is bigger than you ~ indeed, bigger and more majestic than everything ~ God, or however else you prefer to address the magnificent… then there is the Light.
There is so much more to say on this devavani, “Voice of God”… well time reveals all. Shaktipat can spark revelation too. If you want to try, breathe and let go… talk out loud to the trees, or whatever makes you feel safe. It usually starts small ~ nonsense syllables bubbling up from the belly, no judgment, just a heart-centered flow of sounds. Sometimes it stays playful, pure sound with no need to be decoding. Sometimes it opens into visions, symbols, a language only you seem to understand in the moment… Either way, it’s real. It’s yours ~ or rather, it’s moving through you, which is the same thing.
Some tongues can later be found in very hard-to-find books… but the exact code, syllables, intonation, and sync will never be found in any book. In fact, it is rare to hear persons utter these sounds out loud. Doing so can be more intimate than having sex.
It’s not something to hoard or perform. It’s not “yours.” It moves through you, not from you. Light language is an original “communication” that predates all language. It’s also been called “the language of the devas.“
